2012 - 2013 Kids' Club Staff

Lauren Goldstein is the Kids’ Club Manager.  Lauren has been coming to Alta Lodge and skiing Alta with her family since the time she was very, very small.  From 2004 through 2009, Lauren worked as a summer camp counselor and tennis instructor to children ages 5 to 13.  In 2011, she worked as an assistant teacher at a summer school program for children with emotional, neurological and learning difficulties, and from 2011 to 2012 she volunteered at Boston Children's Hospital.  Lauren earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Psychology from Middlebury College in 2011, and holds certifications in First Aid and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.

Ketner Lappetito was very popular with kids and parents as Kids’ Club Manager during the 2011-2012 winter season.  Ketner is returning to Kids’ Club as Assistant, and will also be in the Dining Room this year.  Ketner has taught skiing to children ages 3 to 5, and has also worked as a nanny. Ketner dedicated three summers working for the Department of Mental Health in Boston at a young adult outpatient care facility, while earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bates College. Ketner has also pursued fluency in Spanish over the years, traveling to Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and studying a semester in Spain. Ketner holds certifications in First Aid and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.
