Dine in Alta Tradition

Breakfast and a four-course dinner are included with your nightly winter stay. Dine at a private table or enjoy the authentic Alta tradition of group dining, which encourages making new friends, and often, finding ski partners with similar interests and abilities.

7:30-9:15 am

Breakfast

Start your ski day with hot and cold cereals, Alta Lodge granola, fresh-cut fruit and juices, yogurt, Starbucks coffee, assorted teas, house-made pastries and breads, eggs cooked to order, and a daily special. Our hot buffet includes French toast or pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon,  sautéed vegetables, and Lodge breakfast potatoes.

12:00-1:30 pm

Lunch

Ski in and ski out for lunch in our dining room, featuring a selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, and a daily special. It’s a refreshing alternative to to the mid-mountain day lodges and the perfect opportunity to adjust your layers.

3:00-5:00 PM

Afternoon Tea

Join us daily for afternoon tea. Enjoy tea breads, biscotti, shortbread cookies, and other homemade treats, along with a wonderful variety of teas. Our server also brews loose tea to order. Relax in front of the fire or join us in the Deck Room to mingle with other guests or watch ski movies.

6:00-8:30 pm

Dinner

 

Included in your winter stay is our nightly four-course dinner, which includes a soup starter, salad, a choice of three different entrées (including a vegetarian option), and a selection of assorted house-made desserts. Our dinner menu changes nightly. Full wine and beverage service is offered with dinner.

4:00 PM to Close

Sitzmark Club

Open exclusively to Lodge guests, Sitzmark Club members, and Alta Lodge employees, the Sitzmark Club is a classic ski bar located in the original Lodge. It’s the perfect spot to relax in front of the fireplace, look out onto the mountain with an après ski drink, and soak in the feel of our warm and historic lodge. Guests must be at least 21 years old to enter.

Summer Dining

Experience fine summer dining against a stunning backdrop of Mt. Superior, High Rustler, and Mt. Baldy. We are open to the public for summer Sunday Brunch from June to October. We offer pre-arranged full-service dining and beverage services for summer group events where guests can savor chef-prepared options from appetizers and late-night snacks to plated and buffet dinners and house-made desserts.
